BRAVEN 2018 STORY:
Logging organization proprietor and family man Joe Braven (Jason Momoa), lives with his better half Stephanie (Jill Wagner), and their little girl Charlotte (Sasha Rossof). Braven’s dad Linden (Stephen Lang), who experiences dementia, gets into a saloon fight in the wake of mixing up a lady for his better half, requiring Joe to go to his guide, and bringing about hospitalization for Linden. On Stephanie’s recommendation, Joe and Charlotte get to know one another at the family’s disconnected mountain lodge with Linden. While transporting logs by truck, Joe’s associate, a driver named Weston (Brendan Fletcher) is asked by Hallett (Zahn McClarnon).
A medication trafficker, to select different drivers into Hallett’s criminal exercises. Weston won’t, and amid this trade, Weston loses control of his truck, causing a crash that uproots every one of the logs and cocaine from the vehicle. After they take steps to go to Joe’s mountain lodge to store the cocaine there. Weston and Hallett are grabbed by a police watch auto. Hallet transfers the news of the collide with his manager, tranquilize master Kassen (Garret Dillahunt). After Joe, Linden, and Charlotte touch base at the lodge, Charlotte stows away in the family auto, while Joe finds the cocaine the lodge is then encompassed by Kassen’s hired fighters.

When Weston tries to go about as a go-between, Kassen executes him. Unfit to call for help due to the absence of cell signals at the lodge, Joe, outfitted with a bow and bolt, and Linden with a weapon, execute a portion of the soldiers of fortune amid the resulting standoff. Requiring higher ground keeping in mind the end goal to get to a phone arrange, Joe drives out of the house on a quad bicycle with the first cocaine sack, and Charlotte, covered up under a cover. Joe drops off Charlotte and trains her move to the mountain, where she calls the sheriff when her phone gets legitimate gathering. Hovering back, Joe dispatches a greater amount of Kassen’s men. Kassen finds the pack, however, it is unfilled.
Finding where Joe sent Charlotte, Kassen sends one of the hired fighters, Ridley, to discover her, however, when Kassen enters the lodge, he is cut twice by Linden, who at that point withdraws, and is later injured by another hired soldier, Essington. Kassen abducts Linden and Joe argues for his life, Kassen lethally wounds him. Kassen is then shot by the sheriff, and departures the lodge, later recovering the lost cocaine. Joe at that point pursues him, and after a blade battle in which Kassen bests Joe, Joe pushes Kassen off a bluff, murdering him, before rejoining with Stephanie and Charlotte.
